Hello!! My name is Patricia Mancilla and I believe I am starting my 14th year of teaching at Sigler Elementary. I started at Sigler as a second grade teacher and later had the pleasure of being a 4th and 5th grade teacher. For 3 years I have been the Bilingual Instructional support teacher for 3-5th grade and spend my time working with students with dyslexia and reading difficulties. I was born in Louisiana but raised in Caracas, Venezuela and moved to Texas as a teenager. I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Learning and Development.
