Welcome!!! My name is Yessica Pimentel and I am so happy to be part of Sigler Elementary.  I became a teacher because I want to make a difference in a child's life.  

I was born and raised in New Jersey.  I got my bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2005.   At age 21, I moved to Texas to get married to my loving husband, Cesar! I then started my certification process through Region 10 and got certified as an educator in the areas of Generalist ESL/Bilingual Education (EC-4).

My first job teaching was at Sigler Elementary as a second-grade teacher.  Then, I moved to Beaty Early Childhood School and taught for ten years.  This is where I discovered my passion for teaching small children. I love working with PK students! I am currently working at Sigler Elementary as a PK Dual Language teacher.  I have been working here for eight years.  I love the culture in our school!  

I have three beautiful school-aged children and 1 lovely dog named Chuy!  During my free time, I enjoy traveling, swimming and watching movies.
